Ivanisevic, Cash, Philippoussis, Leconte among stars to join Henman

Goran Ivanisevic, Pat Cash, Mark Philippoussis and Henri Leconte have been confirmed to join Tim Henman as part of an all-star field in the Statoil Masters Tennis at the Royal Albert Hall, 5-9 December.

They will be joined by Mansour Bahrami and Fabrice Santoro who will also both appear with Leconte on ITV4′s coverage of the French Open tomorrow at 09.30am.

Ivanisevic won the title in London two years ago and can’t wait to return.

“I love playing tennis at the Royal Albert Hall,” he said. “Especially if I can beat Tim Henman again! That is always a nice motivation, to play in a beautiful place and beat Tim – perfect! I can’t wait for the Statoil Masters Tennis in December and I hope everyone comes to watch and makes it a great atmosphere like every year.”

Statoil became the title sponsor of the tournament last week for at least the next three years. The international energy company operates in 36 countries around the world.

The Statoil Masters Tennis is part of the ATP Champions Tour – a circuit of former World Number One tennis players, Grand Slam singles finalists and Davis Cup winners.
